We are about to finish a really wonderful first week back. It was so amazing to see so many of our favourite big and little people this week. Meeting new dancers and seeing them gain confidence as they enter an unfamiliar space is really a special moment. Thank you to all the parents this week who so graciously followed our new normal, and allowed us to share our love of dance with your child. We’ve missed you!!

Happy "1st day of dance"!!!! We've all been waiting so long to get back into the studio, and the day is finally here! :) A couple reminders as our return to the studio is a little different this year:... 1. MASKS Please remember that a mask is needed to enter the lobby, students included for ages 5+! Our staff will help will guide your child through the new way of entering the studio, but watch out for a post tomorrow detailing what studio A and studio B is, and where you should enter and exit the building from. 2. PAYMENTS You only need to pay your $25 registration fee & $20 deposit per class right now. All other payments will only be received next week. We are sending an envelope with your totals home with you, along with a form you must sign and send back with your child next week. If you paid your deposit after your envelope was prepared, we will deduct the amount from your first payment. We will not be taking payments at the front desk for the time being. 3. PARENTS Please DROP OFF your child. We have many students who take multiple classes an evening and we would like to reserve the lobby spaces for them to wait/do homework in. Until we are given different social distancing guidelines from the government, we would like to make sure we always have the room for our students to wait comfortably. :) See you soon dancers!!! :)

Good morning! :) We've had a lot of e-mails asking about e-mail confirmation for registration. We'd like to remind you that we will ONLY be contacting you if there is an issue with the class you have chosen. :) We are presently getting the studio ready to welcome back students and creating new invoices for this year. Everyone who registered will receive an e-mail by this weekend outlining our Covid-19 protocols so that everyone understands how the classes will run.... Please remember that all outstanding balances are now due, as well as your $25 registration fee and $20 deposit per class. All payments can be made via e-transfer to [email protected]

Happy long weekend before school starts! Hi everyone! Many of you may be wondering what the beginning of Fall semester will look like at movement.workshop. This post will give you a clear picture of our COVID-19 protocols that we will have in place.... With these guidelines, we're trying our best to strike a delicate balance between "very safe" and "very fun" to allow for our dancers to put some "normal" back in their "new normal" this Fall. :) That being said, we'll be keeping a close eye on provincial regulations and we'll do our very best to keep you informed of any updates to our policy.

Registration for all classes is now open! The following classes have changed days / times because of scheduling conflicts: (Please note that scheduling is more challenging this year with all of the extra time between classes for cleaning! Thanks for your understanding )... Hip-Hop Teen 2 - Tuesday 7:15-8:15 Teen Tap - Wednesday 7:15-8:15 Teen 1 Jazz - Thursday 6:00-7:00pm The following classes are now FULL: Pointe 1 & 2 Teen Jazz 1 Junior Ballet 1 Due to the procedures we have in place this year, many other classes only have a few spots left. We're so very thankful for your support & are looking forward to season 10!! We will continue to update the registration page on our website as well as our Facebook page as frequently as possible. Happy Friday! We've been sending all of our student's class placements and account balances, but it is taking a long time to get through them all after applying all discounts and making sure each account is accurate with the Covid-19 reimbursements given. We hope everyone has been having a fantastic Summer!! We are getting pretty excited to see our dancers back in the studio after such a long break, and are planning for a fantastic year! At the moment, we are figuring out what our re-opening plan will look like. There are many things to consider in order to follow provincial health regulations so that we keep all of our staff and families safe during this unprecedented time. ... We are currently working on our schedule and class placements. We are trying to keep the schedule similar to last year, but some changes are being made in order to allow for cleaning time between classes, and the fact that some classes must be much smaller than they were before to allow for proper social distancing. We need your help!! <3 We are currently making class lists with potential students in each class like we do every year, but we need to know if your child is planning to continue in the same style of dance as they were last year. While we hope that you will be continuing to support us during this time, we understand that interests change for children. If your child is NOT planning to return this year, please let us know via a facebook message or an e-mail to [email protected] . Class places are limited, so if we know who is, and who is not planning to continue, it will make our class placement a little bit easier.
