Dr. Sosa grew-up in Havana, Cuba, from a humble working family. He started medicine back home and he graduated in 1998. He immigrated to Canada, without his family, in the year 2000 and he started a new life. He had the opportunity to become a doctor again Canada and so he did. He graduated from the University of Montreal 2006 and he completed family medicine at McGill University 2008. Dr. Sosa worked in emergency room across the Province of Ontario, Canada for 7 years.... 5 years ago, he discovered Functional Medicine, which is finding the root cause of diseases. He had an autoimmune disease himself and he was able to get it in full remission with nutrition, lifestyle changes and lots of vitamins and supplements. He also did training on Genomics and Presicion Medicine, which adresses precise understanding of the human genetic make-up and genetic expression in interaction with the environment, which is called epigenetics. His most recent certification was in Cannabis Medicine, as he did 1 year training period, he has clinical experience in treating patients with Cannabis for chronic pain, mood disorders and sleep problems. Today, he will share his understanding of sleep as a physiological experience as well as some tips to optimize your physiology and your brain performance, mood and overall vitality. et voila...
