Seeds in you You plant seeds every single day, in the world and in others, with every thought you think and word you speak and action you take. You have influence. You're making a dent in the universe and you matter, in a very real way. My dad’s garden in picture. He loves what he does......... There's just something about seeing things grow, about seeing them sprout up from seemingly nowhere at all -- it's as close to magic as love is. Pretty close to it, anyway. Bless his hands See more

Our Cookie passed away on August 16th @ age 12. The love she brought to our home is irreplaceable We miss her so much but so grateful that she chose us Messengers of Direction... BY MADISYN TAYLOR Animals in nature always have a message for us, start noticing what animals show up in your life and when. Animals share our planet with us, but experience it differently--each has its own abilities and gifts that allow them to interact successfully with the natural world. Since we are merely one manifestation of the universe's energy in action, when we feel the need for direction we can turn to animals in nature for guidance. Animals can show us different ways to approach and deal with our challenges. As we hold a question in mind, we can begin to pay attention to the animal activity around us. Staring out a window we may notice a bird soaring high in the sky, showing us how to look at our situation from a greater distance. If we don't get an immediate answer, we can remember that the universe has its own perfect timing that doesn't heed the ticking of the clock. Instead, we can release our question into the universe's care, and then trust that an animal messenger will carry inspiration our way. In the meantime, we align ourselves with the universe's rhythm--opening, humbling ourselves, and shifting our perceptions so that at the perfect time we will be ready. Then, even weeks later, the sight of a small bird hopping from branch to branch may signal for us to use a talent other than our greatest strength and to take small leaps rather than fly over details. A squirrel bounding across an open expanse of grass to stash its latest prize may remind us to check our favorite hiding places for forgotten treasure. Even if we don't see actual animals, their representations may hold messages; whether we see them in a shape in the clouds, a picture, or a show on television, their symbolic meaning is the same. Animals are closer to the rhythms and cycles of nature and have fewer distractions from it than humans do. That is why they are the perfect messengers when we are in need of advice. Just by being themselves they remind us of the wisdom of the universe, and that all answers are available to us when we reconnect with our source and with those who know how to be nurtured by it.

Self care is the best care; This is why Yoga works! 4 Ways to Stimulate Your Lymphatic System Dont know much about the lymphatic system? ... The lymphatic system is a network of tissues and organs that primarily consists of lymph vessels, lymph nodes and lymph. The tonsils, adenoids, spleen and thymus are all part of the lymphatic system. The primary function of the lymphatic system is to transport lymph, a clear, colourless fluid containing white blood cells that helps rid the body of toxins, waste and other unwanted materials. The lymphatic system is vital to cleansing the body. There are 600 to 700 lymph nodes in the human body, and these nodes filter the lymph before it returns to the circulatory system. The volume of fluid in the lymphatic system is twice the volume of blood and it consists of 80% water. Proper hydration is essential for optimal function of the lymphatic system. An unhealthy lymphatic system can lead to an impaired immune system and serious health problems such as fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue syndrome, cancer, obesity, aches and pains, bloating, digestive problems. Why you Need to Stimulate the Lymphatic System Unlike the cardiovascular system, which has the heart to pump the blood through the blood vessels, the lymphatic system has no pump so it needs to be stimulated manually to work properly. The lymphatic system works best through regular muscle contraction. The pumping of the muscles help to move the lymphatic fluid through the body and ultimately removing toxins from the body. How to Stimulate your Lymphatic System 1. Exercise 30 minutes daily The skeletal muscles are particularly important to stimulate the lymphatic system. All forms of exercise help to move lymphatic flow, even brisk walking! 2. Trampolines are not just for kids Light bouncing on a trampoline is fantastic for lymphatic stimulation. This is also know as REBOUNDING. You can use any size trampoline and just 5 minutes daily is a great place to start. This is a fantastic way to jump-start your day and bring energy to your morning routine. If you dont have a trampoline and want to get started right away, skipping rope, jumping jacks and running give similar results. 3. Dry skin brushing This not only stimulates your lymphatic system but is also great for your skin! CLICK HERE for instruction on how to make your skin glow and lymphatics flow. 4. Lymphatic massage Lymphatic message is a special techniques that supports healthy lymphatic drainage. Ask your massage therapist about lymphatic massage at your next appointment. Love to Love Letting People Know You Love Them BY MADISYN TAYLOR Love exists to be expressed, not withheld.... It's easy to take our feelings for granted and to assume that the people we care about know how we feel about them. But while those we love are often quite cognizant of our feelings, saying "I love you" is a gift we should give to our loved ones whenever we can. Letting people know you love them is an important part of nurturing any kind of loving relationship. Few people tire of being told they are loved, and saying "I love you" can make a world of difference in someone's life, take a relationship to a new level, or reaffirm and strengthen a steady bond. Everyone needs to hear the words "I love you." Three simple words I - Love - You. When you declare your love for someone you admit to them that you care for them in the most significant way. It can be difficult to express your love using words, particularly if you grew up around people that never expressed their affection verbally. But you should never be afraid to say "I love you" or worry that doing so will thrust you into a position of excessive vulnerability. It is important to share your feelings with those that matter to you. Part of the fulfillment that comes with loving someone is telling them that you love them. Besides, love exists to be expressed, not withheld. If you love someone, let them know. Don't be afraid of the strength of your emotions or worry that your loved one won't feel the same way. Besides, the words "I love you" are often best said to another without expectation of a return investment. As each one of us is filled with an abundance of love, there is never any worry that you'll run out of love if your expression of love isn't said back to you. Saying "I love you" is a gift of the heart sent directly via words to the heart of a recipient. Even though it may not always look that way, love from the heart is an offering that is always unconditional and given without strings attached. That is the true essence of the gift of "I love you."

The Energy Of Honesty BY MADISYN TAYLOR Speaking our truth may involve risking rejection, but when we allow ourselves to follow the flow of life, we are supported. As children most of us learn that honesty is better than dishonesty, and we may not question this beyond whether or not to do what we're told. As adults, however, we can go deeper to examine our choices as investments of energy with predictable risks and returns. When we speak the truth, we affirm what already is. ...This is like using a paddle when the stream is already moving the same direction. We are already supported by the universe and its energy flow, so we don't need to exert much energy, leaving more for other pursuits. But dishonesty redirects a portion of our energy against the flow, which requires extra effort. In addition, it creates an alternate reality that requires further energetic input to be maintained. So we can easily see that we are best served when we work with the flow of the universe. Life is not always clearly defined, so we may find it useful to follow our choices to their logical conclusions. We may feel that little untruths are harmless, but they can be like small cracks that weaken an overall structure over time. Even giving someone a compliment or trying to protect them can create problems later when the alternate reality we've created becomes the basis for further actions. Even if the actions that follow are honestly done, the underlying unstable foundation of dishonesty will threaten to topple things eventually. This can lead to further energy being spent on keeping things hidden, working to remember the tales we've spun and fearing the consequences of being found out. Life doesn't need to be this draining, but we can make the choice to free ourselves from the bonds of dishonesty at any time. Speaking and living our truth may involve risking, among other things, the possibility of rejection. But when we allow ourselves to follow the flow of life, we are supported. We can then use our energy to cultivate physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being and to create our dreams, rather than leaving ourselves too drained to even maintain our existence. Today we can make honesty our choice in every interaction, bringing the nurturing power of the universe's energy into our lives to bring positive, lasting results. Namaste

Accepting Yourself BY MADISYN TAYLOR To label yourself good or bad is to think too small. There is no such thing as a good person or a bad person. There are choices and actions that lead us in different directions, and it is through those choices and actions that we create our realities. Sometimes we choose or do something that takes us in the opposite direction of the reality we want to create for ourselves. When we do this, we feel bad--uneasy, unhappy, unsure. We might go ...so far as to label ourselves "bad" when a situation like this arises. Instead of labeling ourselves, though, we could simply acknowledge that we made a choice that led us down a particular path, and then let it go, forgiving ourselves and preparing for our next opportunity to choose, and act, in ways that support our best intentions. Many of us experienced childhoods in which the words good and bad were used as weapons to control us--you were good if you did what you were told and bad if you didn't. This kind of discipline undermines a person's ability to find their own moral center and to trust and be guided by their own inner self. If you were raised this way, you may find yourself feeling shockwaves of badness when you do something you were taught was wrong, even if now you don't agree that it's bad. Conversely, you may feel good when you do what you learned was right. Notice how this puts you in something of a straitjacket. An important part of our spiritual unfolding requires that we grow beyond what we learned and take responsibility for our own liberation in our own terms. You are a human being with every right to be here, learning and exploring. To label yourself good or bad is to think too small. What you are is a decision-maker and every moment provides you the opportunity to move in the direction of your higher self or in the direction of stagnation or degradation. In the end, only you know the difference. If you find yourself going into self-judgment, try to stop yourself as soon as you can and come back to center. Know that you are not good or bad, you are simply you Namaste

DailyOM ~ Afraid To Meditate? BY MADISYN TAYLOR If you want to meditate but dont, ask yourself why you would put off something so beneficial to your well-being.... There are times when we feel the pull to meditate but are swayed from it by the excuses that spring to mind. We may think that we are too busy, have no time to ourselves, or that we do not have the right place to meditate. Our minds can think of dozens of reasons to put off meditation. But those are even stronger reasons to look past the illusion of the hustle and bustle of daily life and to connect to the place within that intersects with the timeless power and limitless potential of the universe. From that place we can experience that potent stillness that exists at all times, and it is only as far as away as our breath. It might be useful to ask yourself why you would put off something so beneficial to your peace of mind and general well-being. There may be fear that if you were to stop your frantic pace, your world might fall apart, and then you would have to face the undeniable reality of who you really are and the results of the choices you have made. You might be afraid that you will be forced to make huge changes in order to align yourself with the universe and harness your true potential. Sometimes the frustrations of the known world seem less scary than the possibilities of the unknown. But the truth is that when we cooperate with the universe by creating our lives from the truth of our being, life becomes less of a struggle and more of a process of living blissfully on purpose. Finding yourself alone for a few moments can give you the opportunity to turn within to infuse a sense of calm wisdom to your work. Whenever you can take the time to recenter and refocus, it will remind you how beneficial it is to connect to your source. Then you will make the time for longer sojourns of spirit, because once you are rejuvenated and enlivened by knowing that you are made of energy and light, you can channel the power to create your life in alignment with the highest potential of your soul. Happy white weekend Dont stop dreaming in Colours DailyOM ~ What You Think Is What you Get BY MADISYN TAYLOR... You don't have to know how it will come into your life, just lay the groundwork, follow leads, and prepare for its arrival. The law of attraction is surprisingly simple: Like attracts like. It becomes a bit more complicated when it comes to training our minds to think in ways that will bring what we desire into our lives. The term "self-fulfilling prophecy" describes the same law. This well-known term explains that we create the circumstances our mind dwells upon, whether positive or negative. So our goal is to practice consistent presence of mind to make sure our thoughts are always directed toward the positive and what we want to create. A key to the process is the word "frequency." This is true for two reasons: 1) The frequency you use when you passionately dwell upon or revisit a thought, dream, desire, or goal provides the energy your musings need for creation; and 2) just like a radio station broadcasts on a certain frequency, like the radio you must be "tuned in" to receive it. This means preparing for the arrival of your dream on every possible level--material, physical, and spiritual. You don't have to know how it will come into your life, just trust that it will. Your job is to lay the groundwork, follow any leads you can find, and prepare for its arrival. This can mean cleaning out your garage to make space for a new car, taking a tour of a model home to get the feel of it in order to feed your fantasies, or thinking of what you want in a mate and then living up to that list yourself. Just like with any skill, the law of attraction must be practiced. We must decide what makes us feel abundant and use our imagination to create the feeling. It isn't enough to just want something--you must use the power of your thoughts to attract it. A series of choices is what brings us everything in our lives right now, every moment. When we know the direction in which we want our choices to take us, it is as if we've placed an order with the universe. We can then await its arrival with joyful anticipation. If we find ways to experience our dreams right now, we make creating joy a treasure hunt in which the seeking is just as much fun as the finding. Namaste

This was written for Deepak Chopra site and I feel it also belongs on my page... so here I ( thats me) am delighted to be part of this group. Yoga and meditation has brought deeper meaning to my life. As a child I was always scared and felt disconnected with the world. I searched endlessly for meaning in everything and situations.... I met my husband the day I was supposed to enter the Ursuline Convent. Moved to Canada & started a family. Found many purposes but not always with great passion. The common thread was always PRAYERS. At comfortable age 50 with less responsibilities, I joined a gym and a sweet soul invited me to join a Yoga Class. I struggled at first! But it was the focus and quietness that won and kept pulling me back. Last year I went to the Ashram in Bahamas and took the 5 week TTC course and am now a certified instructor. An achievement I am so proud of. But not everyone embraced my success and path. I lost a few connections and some relationships are still questionable. As I am now faced with; 1) Catholics dont do Yoga 2) Yoga engages the Devil 3) Yoga is Hinduism 4) The bible say .. you cant have 2 masters and... One of my friends apologized before she gave me a Christmas card (she asked me do you still believe in God?) None of these ignorance has broken me I am sharing this as this is my challenge after my enlightenment! And perhaps you too might have encountered some. Namaste and continue to be the Light that leads and not blind. Already more than a 110 likes on his site and many agreements

DailyOM The Importance Of Seeing The Good In All BY MADISYN TAYLOR There is a perceptible energetic shift that takes place when we choose to see the good in all.... Our perception shapes the lives we lead because the universe adjusts itself almost instantly to our expectations. When we look for negativity, we are bound to come across it in abundance. Conversely, we create positive energy when we endeavor to see the goodness around us. As easy as it is to criticize the people and situations that frustrate or hurt us, we do ourselves a disservice in the process. It is important to see the good in all as there are blessings hiding in every aspect of our outer-world reality, and the potential for grace exists in all human beings. When our lives are flooded with challenges, grief, and pain, we may be tempted to believe that some individuals or incidents are simply bad. But if we look for the good in all, good reveals itself to us, easing our doubts and reminding us that the universe is a place of balance. There is a perceptible energetic shift that takes place when we choose to see the good in all. The unnecessary tension that came into being when we dwelled on negativity fades away and is replaced by sympathetic tolerance. We can forgive those that have wronged us because we recognize in them traits we admire, and we may even discover that we can bring out the good in one another. Though loss still grieves us, we recognize the beginning of a new phase of existence that abounds with fresh opportunities. Each new challenge becomes another chance to prove ourselves, and we learn to show great patience in the face of difficulty. There are few pleasures greater than gazing outward and seeing beauty, wisdom, and harmony. These are the attributes of the universe that help us to cope when we encounter their opposing forces. Since you create your reality, you make your world a better place each time you acknowledge the good in your circumstances and in the people you encounter. As you draw attention to the positive aspects of the world around you, your understanding of the affirmative nature of all existence will grow. There are few lessons you will learn in this life that will prove as instrumental to your happiness and satisfaction. In appreciating the all pervasive goodness that exists in the universe, you internalize it, making it a lasting part of your life.

DailyOM~ Lessons Of Reflection BY MADISYN TAYLOR We need to keep in mind that each of us has a unique path, and that we all learn differently.... When we care about people, we want to save them from pain by offering them the benefit of our experience. Sometimes we feel like we know what is best for them. Sometimes, like when their safety is involved, we need to step in, but those times are rare. More often we find ourselves becoming frustrated when our close friends or family members do not use our relationship insights or follow our dietary advice, and this is where we find our challenge. We may even find ourselves becoming angry when they choose another path. This strength of feeling is usually a sign that our motivations go beyond merely helping another to indicate that there is a lesson there for us. First, we need to keep in mind that each of us is on our own path and that we all learn differently. When we trust the universe, we know that there is a higher power at work that knows what is best for our loved one. Since we don't want to deny them experiences of deep feeling that are essential steps in the growth of their spirit, we can instead offer them our counsel. After we have given our gift, it is time to release it, along with our expectations of them and their choices, with love. Once that is done, we can remind ourselves that our relationships are mirrors that allow us to see ourselves more clearly in the reflection. That is why it is easier for us to see solutions to other people's problems than to see answers for our own. We can also learn from these experiences when we ask ourselves if we ever do the same thing. Maybe we do not share experiences with relationships, but we do with our finances or our food choices. In being willing to look at ourselves and see why we are being irritated by what other people choose to do with their lives, we can be like an oyster and make irritations into pearls. With these pearls of wisdom, we learn to release the desire for control over others and instead enrich their lives as we enrich our own. Namaste

The Sunshine IN Keeping The Sun Inside BY MADISYN TAYLOR via DailyOM- Keeping the sun inside of you, when you are missing it on the outside, is a way to say hello to the sun and let it warm your soul.... Anyone who has endured a long, dark winter can attest to the power the sun has to both invigorate and relax body, mind, and soul. It can be daunting to begin the months of fall and winter, knowing that we may not see as much of the beautiful sun for quite some time. But it is important to remember that even during the darker days of fall and winter, the sun is still there shining, as beautiful as ever. Just because it is hidden behind clouds or setting early in our part of the world, does not mean that we cannot access its power, beauty, and warmth. One way to do this is to find a warm spot in our house where we can sit or lie down in peace. Closing our eyes, we allow our breath to come and go easily, progressively lengthening each inhale and exhale until we feel very relaxed, peaceful, and warm. We imagine that it is a very warm summer day and that the sun is shining on us, allowing it to warm our body. In particular, we may feel as if a small sun has taken up residence in the area of our solar plexus or our heart. We do not need to think about which one too much and can simply trust our body to let us know where it is. Spend some time just experiencing this sensation, allowing the heat to radiate from inside your body. If you live in a part of the world that loses a lot of light in the winter, you might want to do this exercise each night before retiring. You could also do it at the beginning of each day, giving yourself a chance to plug into that great source of energy. Keeping the sun inside of you when you are missing it on the outside is a way to say hello to the sun and let it warm your soul.

The Sound of the Human Voice BY MADISYN TAYLOR Every time we use our voices, we send our energetic imprint out into the universe and to the people around us. Whether listening to the low muted murmur of a confidential whisper or the proud declarative boom coming from behind a mic on the podium, there are few sounds more evocative than the human voice. Each human being's voice has a unique tone that is all its own. Carrying their own signature traits and idiosyncrasies, no two... voices are alike. Yet so often, we neglect to hear these resonances under which our spoken words are floated over. A lover's voice vibrating with tenderness can feel like a warm caress touching the body; words spoken over an angry voice can seem like bullets hitting one's auric field; and a voice tinged with laughter can't help but fill us with good feelings. And then there are the voices of other people we encounter. The radio announcer's soothing baritone that accompanies us during a long ride, the cheerful chatter of children playing on the street, and the dulcet hum of a yogi in mid-mantra are just a few of the voices we may be blessed to hear on any given day. Taken together, they're like a wondrous symphony of mellifluous notes. Every time we use our voices, we send our energetic imprint out into the universe and to the people around us. And, like the words that we use when we speak to people, our voices can communicate what we are feeling, what we desire, and what we really mean. There is no hiding our truth that can be felt through the sound of our voices. Timidity, desire, pain, and love can all be expressed and felt through the human voice. Our voices also have the power to heal, to hurt, to love, and to transform others. When we are aware of the impact our voices can have, we can consciously choose what we are expressing. Remember that what you communicate when you speak goes beyond words. Take responsibility for the power your voice has to impact the space and the people around you, and let your voice be a sound that creates harmony and compassion in the universe. Namaste.

A Season to change I love Autumn The season of inspiration for me. It is so cooool ... The falling leaves Looks like flying colourful snow.. As they detach from their life-giver And rests gently at her feet. Teaches me that detachment Is freedom... freedom from Ego Freedom to be, to choose, to get lost And then to rest and become ONE With Mother Earth again. The mystery of the cycle of life Is no more.... We have to die to evolve Into what we are meant to be Food for the Universe And energy to all that matters. We are in charge of how we feel. ( affirm a beautiful thought today and let it fill you) Thoughts, emotions, intentions, choices, and actions contribute to our vibrational state, as do the environments we inhabit. Affirmative activities that leave us feeling joyous, appreciative, loving, and peaceful raise our vibration. Constructive, creative, and expansive thoughts do the same. When we cultivate habits that contribute to our physical health and strength, our vibration is likewise raised. Certain mantra meditations, breathing exercises, and chants are designed to increase vibration. But simply practicing gratitude and forgiveness, surrounding ourselves with loving high-vibration people, eating whole foods, and spending time in nature can also help us transcend our current vibrational limitations.
