Congratulations to all students in our 3rd Annual Piano Concerto Competition! Thank you to everyone for your beautiful playing and hard work this year. Our gratitude also goes to our wonderful guest adjudicator, Irina Faletski, and all the teachers and parents for their support and encouragement. MSMV Piano Concerto is open to public and non-MSMV students and teachers are welcome. Next competition will be held in Feb/Mar 2021 and application will be available by late Fall 20...20. 3rd Annual Piano Concerto Competition! This Sunday, March 1, we will be hosting our 3rd annual piano concerto competition with a guest adjudicator, Irina Faletski. We have a total of 21 students performing in the Junior, Intermediate, and Senior Categories. We are looking forward to all the performances!... Location: MSMV Classroom 1 Times: Junior 1-2pm, Intermediate 2-3:15 and Senior 3:15-4:00pm Awards Concert will be on March 8, Sunday from 6-7pm at Showcase Pianos - Everyone welcome!

For Teachers & Students! We are planning our next Gifted Artist Concerto Gala (GACG) for May 2020. Perform a movement of a concerto with the Vancouver Chamber Orchestra at the Chan Centre (UBC Campus) next Spring. ... In addition to gaining experience in performing with a professional orchestra in the prestigious Chan Centre, all accepted students will participate in a series of masterclasses with invited performing artists from our community and receive a professional video recording of the performance. Attention to all students! We are inviting all students to our upcoming SINGERS AUDITION to be part of our 10th Anniversary Faculty Gala. We will be selecting students to sing as soloist(s) and/or as members of a choir in the Gala on November 23, 2019 in the Old Auditorium (UBC School of Music) and will be hosting our audition on September 28, 2019 from 2:00-6:00pm at MSMV Classroom 1.... Hello everyone! Our private lessons for 2019-2020 start tomorrow, September 2 and we are looking forward to seeing you all again soon! And, this is a very special year as we are celebrating our 10th Anniversary!... Our MSMV school opened in 2009 and we have many new classes, workshops, and concerts to celebrate with all of our MSMV family, friends and community.
