It was unacceptable that Long Term Care Homes didn’t all have air conditioning, now they do. But it’s not good enough, we know so many of these homes were old. Simply put, Ontario badly needed renovations and new builds. Well today, in our community alone, we have over 232 *new* beds under construction and another 428 redeveloped. ... Consider that between 2011 - 2018 only 611 *new* beds were built in Ontario. We can do better, we must do better, our loved ones deserve it! https://news.ontario.ca//ontario-keeping-seniors-in-long-t

Only 7 days after Ontario reached the seven million doses milestone over the long weekend Ontario reached another incredible milestone with over eight million vaccine doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered! In addition, on Friday, May 21, Ontario hit an incredible new daily record of 190,129 doses administered in a single day! In addition, the number of Ontarians fully vaccinated against COVID-19 now surpasses the number of total cases in Ontario. This achievement is a ...true #TeamOntario effort, and it is thanks to the incredible work of our public health units, vaccination sites and other health care partners. The Government of Ontario strongly encourages everyone to book an appointment as soon as it’s their turn.

Have you seen this? Philip Lawrence was exactly right, a TAX on a TAX! Why can’t we just get a straight answer from the Liberals on this. Furthermore, many of our Provinces were shortchanged on this, read below https://www.cp24.com//feds-overcollected-carbon-tax-revenu

DYK: Ontario was the first jurisdiction in North America to introduce job protected leave for workers through the COVID-19 pandemic? Furthermore, Premier FordNation was instrumental in negotiating a $1.1 BN agreement with all Provinces in Canada & the Federal Government to introduce two weeks of paid sick leave for everyone! We’re stronger when we work together. We are weaker when we mislead Ontarians, turn our backs on 1.1 BN of taxpayer dollars, and go after small businesses to pay for a duplicative program. This makes no sense

We all want the best for our loved ones! That means ensuring they are in a safe, modern space where they can receive the best quality of care. Part of our commitment to improving long term care in the Province of Ontario means investing in new, modern spaces to support staff in delivering the highest quality of care and ensuring residents have a comfortable, modern place to live. Our Government is removing long standing barriers to building and upgrading LTC and that starts with a $4.5 million investment to build 35 new long-term care spaces and upgrade 61 additional spaces at Pleasant Meadow Manor OMNI Health Care

Today's #BudgetBite centers on internet connectivity . I hear from many of you on a daily basis about the need for better access to internet as more people are working and learning from home. We have heard your needs loud and clear which is why we have announced $680 million over the next four years in broadband infrastructure, increasing Ontario's investment to nearly $1 billion over the next six years. Improving broadband is an effort that requires federal, provincial,... municipal and service provider partnerships but rest assured we won't stop until you see meaningful connectivity.
