This weekend we will be at the spring Third+Bird market. Over the past day, we (like the rest of you) became aware that three vendors had entered Manitoba without observing the required 14 day quarantine period. These vendors have been removed from the market. We feel lucky that our day jobs kept us away from setting up yesterday, so we had no contact with any of them! At Mr. Biltong, we take COVID-19, public health orders, and the safety of our customers and our family very ...seriously. At our booth you can expect: A socially-distanced shopping experience. Plexiglass barriers between staff & shoppers. Contactless payment options. Properly masked staff. Frequent sanitization of high-touch surfaces. Available hand sanitizer for customers. Staff that go above and beyond the necessary public health guidelines in their personal and professional lives. We attended the fall Third + Bird market last year and found it to be very organized, with more space and observance of public health orders than at the mall or large grocery stores.
