From my recent trip to Boston.

Remember that when the sun goes down behind the horizon and the light becomes dark, when the warmth becomes cooler, when the magical becomes mysterious... that this is the time to reflect. This is the time to remember that although everything about that day wasn’t perfect but there was good in it. Soon the sun will rise again on all of us and we will have another opportunity to change what we didn’t like about the day before or to continue expanding on what made us happy. So ...many time throughout our lives other human beings will treat us poorly, say awful things and even make us cry. This isn’t always so easy to deal with but I know that just as I hurt... they hurt too. If treating me poorly and saying terrible things to me are what helps you heal... then so be it. I’ll be that soundboard for you just a little longer. Let it all out if it helps you heal. I ask of you however to remember, that I have feelings too. I cry just like you and eventually I will die just like you will. So was it all worth it? All the time spent living with hatred and negativity consuming our thoughts and leading us further down the black hole of depression, anxiety, remorse, self-consciousness and loss of love? I think not. Let try and show a little more compassion for one another. At least imagine walking a mile in their shoes... even if they don’t fit. Self Portait Project: I thought this was fitting as I put another year in the books. Two ways to interpret this photo in my opinion. On one side I'm getting better and healing, growing and understanding. On the other side, I'm cracked, broken and falling apart. At times I feel split in my thoughts and emotions. But when I can focus on the good, the cracks certainly begin to fade away. Huge thanks to @piximperfect for teaching me the techniques to pull off this edit.
