'Man in the Mist' is the first single from my forthcoming album 'King of Cups' and it hits the streets today. The album is slotted for a spring release date, but hopefully this jaunty little number adds some pep to your winter step. The music on this record is a long time coming; conceptualized and produced by yours truly, featuring some heavy duty performances by the Margarita Machine, who I finally got in studio for more than a day (they are always in high demand). The resu...lt, as it happened, was lounge lizard, crooner pop rock 'n' roll with a dose of tropical flavour (must be my Cuban side). I’m not one for strict genre designation but all of those words feel pretty accurate. They feel good, actually. Hell, I feel good. It’s release day. Pour yourself a double and let’s set it loose.
