I sewed a lovely pair of slippers today! These were quick to put together and are the perfect weight for around the house. I used essex linen for the top, floral canvas for the toe, and a light organic sherpa for the lining. The sole is a supple vinyl in navy blue. I love how the top can roll down, and there is an elastic in these to keep them on around your ankle. Exterior fabric from local waterloo store, Spool and Spindle. Interior sherpa from Sitka fabric (online).
All the fanny packs...with pretty metal hardware. A great small size, classy style, simple and washable. Perfect for spring and summer outings, vacation or daily hands free, hassle free errands.
Upcycled wool suit coats turned into bucket bags. All with bold beautiful lining, an interior zippered pocket and a key clip. Eight small zippered pouches from the wool scraps. Market prep is complete. We will be at Waterloo Winter Market @ Rim park on Feb 9th 2019!!
Thank you to everyone who attended the Frederick artwalk 2018! Another successful show and lots of great people to chat with. Always a pleasure Kitchener!
