Refined Dirt

Refined wha?? Stay with me I’ll explain. It’s my son’s fault. I had just done a quick makeup (using Younique of course) as I was going shopping. He was helping with some renovations, so was not clean. He reached for my hand as I was saying good bye and I pulled away commenting that he was all dirty. He laughed and said, ‘So are you. Look at your face, it’s covered in dirt! It’s refined dirt but it’s still dirt! Which is actually very true. But it got me thinking. Lots of people talk about gardening as ‘playing in the dirt’. I enjoy makeup. I love the colors. I love the art of it. I love the way it can brighten or enhance. Basically, I like ‘playing in the dirt’. But I prefer Refined Dirt.
