Kendrew was instrumental in advocating for two Albertan programs that have significantly changed that for the better. Given her strong commitment to ethical business practices and community building, Outstanding Alumni Achievement Award recipient Sharilyn Amy made the difficult decision to take a stand against corruption when developing Oceana Patagonia, an award-winning eco-hotel in Argentina.
