2020 alumni achievement award recipient Travis Juska serves his community every day through his work as a Calgary police officer. Furthermore, he is a dedicated volunteer who has contributed over 10,000 hours of volunteer service over the last 15 years. 2019 alumni achievement award recipient Heather Graham made her way to Guatemala for what was intended to be a short-term volunteer role in 2001. 19 years later, she is still there, playing a major role in helping to break the cycle of poverty for the local Mayan communities. When Lifetime Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient Anne Kendrew began working as a nurse almost fifty years ago, the medical community had very different views on maternal and infant care. Kendrew was instrumental in advocating for two Albertan programs that have significantly changed that for the better. Given her strong commitment to ethical business practices and community building, Outstanding Alumni Achievement Award recipient Sharilyn Amy made the difficult decision to take a stand against corruption when developing Oceana Patagonia, an award-winning eco-hotel in Argentina. Join our Alumni Achievement Award Webinar series presented by TD Insurance Nov. 24 to hear these amazing and inspiring stories of two alumnae who changed lives by changing the status quo. http://ow.ly/NaTr50CnBre
