May 1-7 is #nationalyouthweek, just a reminder that one of the biggest indicators of future employment success is having a paid job as a youth. This is especially true for kids with disabilities. Let's all do our best to make sure ALL youth are celebrated and given opportunities to demonstrate their skills and value that they can bring to the workplace.

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Disability Employment Awareness Month (DEAM) is an annual awareness campaign that takes place each October. The purpose is to promote employment inclusion for people who experience disability and to celebrate the many and varied contributions of workers with disabilities!

In attendance was the Minister of Families Heather Stefanson, L...en Isleifson MLA of Brandon East, Mayor Rick Chrest City of Brandon - Local Government and guest speaker from the Samaritan House Employment Resource Center Nataliya Masyuk. Career Connections Inc has supported 37 Jobs on 9th clients since January and currently 10 have found and sustained employment. Congratulations on your Grand Opening Jobs on 9th!!
