Big but belated announcement: MSGP has started a podcast called The Majlis. In Arabic this word was used for the learned assemblies of scholars, philosophers, theologians, belles-lettrists who came together who sat together to debate and discuss intellectual, scientific, literary, and theological issues in a cosmopolitan and multi-faith setting. I am delighted to work with co-hosts to convene The Majlis for good conversation with experts and scholars about the Middle East, I...slamic World, and Muslim diaporic communities from an interdisciplinary perspective.
