It's time to celebrate National Nursing Week!! Join us in celebrating the work that Licensed Practical Nurses, Continuing Care Assistants and Direct Care Workers/Personal Support Workers do to care for our clients/patients/residents in our community. Each year National Nursing Week celebrations take place from the Monday to the Sunday of the same week as Florence Nightingale’s birthday, May 12. The theme this year is #WeAnswerTheCall and was picked to showcase the many roles ...that our care teams play in a patient’s health-care journey. The pandemic brought to light the courage and commitment that our care teams work under every day and showed the important role that they play in the community. #MSJhome #PrinceAlbertProud

We are very happy to announce that we will be holding a new 50/50 draw every month in 2021! But that's not the best news...... Our new SLGA license allows us to have a subscription option!! That means each and everyone of you will now have the option to have your monthly tickets automatically charged on your credit card each month if you so wish!!... You can set up your monthly subscription anytime you go in to purchase tickets and then you know you'll be entered for each and every draw, no muss no fuss!! Because of all your support, our Foundation and Home are able to provide our 120 residents with the quality care that they deserve! The Christmas Spirit sure is flowing this week!!! We had TWO special deliveries just yesterday!! Our good friends at the Prince Albert Royal Purple Elks #50 stopped by with a wonderful donation for our Foundation!! AND King George School’s Pre-K class dropped off BAGS of goodies for our residents!!... We are definitely feeling the love and Christmas magic here at MSJ this week!! #MSJhome #PrinceAlbertProud

We were so excited to get a visit from these guys in red (red hats at least). Our own Prince Albert Shrine Club stopped by the Home to donate $1,000 towards our Tree of Love!! Not only does this great group support over 22 Shriners Hospitals for Children, but they also keep a close eye on local organizations that they can help out as well!! ... We are soooo excited to share our ‘Tree of Hope’ with everyone!!! We officially lit this 18 foot beauty up on December 1st, with the much appreciated help of Econo Lumber Timber Mart, and it will stay lit throughout the Christmas Season! This tree signifies the Hope that all of you, our supporters, have given our Home and Foundation over the years; Hope that we will be able to continue to provide the quality care that our residents need and deserve. ... #MSJHome
