As a Community Sponsor of the West Kelowna Youth Ambassador I am so sad to learn about the sudden passing of our friend and most lovely lady Christine. She has given so much love to her family and community!! Thank you!! She has raised such a strong son Micheal who has represented our community as the one of the West Kelowna Ambassadors for the last year. Such a proud Mama!! We will all miss you Christine!! She has the best friends ever! They have set up a Go fund me page for her husband who now has to pass on a great job to be with his two boys! Some Earth Day activities. Making/learning about volcano, in the sandbox. We decided we need more vinegar to make an impressionable eruption. "Recycling Man" has made an appearance this week as well.

Today we hiked to the burnt forest above Gormans. We saw 6 different types of butterflies and lots of busy bees!

Once again nature is working, this time inside our classroom. I was so happy to have my 6 little friends at school with me Tuesday when the Praying Mantis nest opened up with lots of life!! Thank you Vernon Teachers Store for offering this amazing bit of nature.

Nature only waits for warmer weather, flowers are opening, let's hope the children will be able to enjoy them soon.

Our daycare has decided to stay open for Essential Workers. Please call to register if you need care during the pandemic. We have a multi Age license which allows for younger and school age children. I wish good health to all families navigating through this unsettling time.

Happy to be saying goodbye to winter fun and looking forward to spring days. Sad to be starting Spring Break with social distancing.

Thank you Paynter's Fruit Market for guiding us through the Orchards. The Children had such a fun time learning about the different fruit trees , vegetables in your garden , and we can forget the alpacas!
