Order delivery or takeout food/beverages, buy gift certificates, do curb-side pickup for your favourite products and/or sign up for online personal training. Big box stores and online retailers can afford an economic downturn: the little guys can't. Every dollar helps support the families of small business owners and those of the people they employ. To our valued clients, partners, neighbours and friends: With Ontario entering a province-wide shutdown for all non-essential businesses, we wanted to reassure you that MSS Law will still be open. All appointments can be handled via telephone or through FaceTime, Zoom or Facebook Messenger. Banks and the Land Registry Office will remain open, which means we will still be able to close all real estate transactions for the month of April. There might be the occasional hiccup or... delay, but our Team will make sure you're kept in the loop every step of the way. If you are looking to make a Will or Powers of Attorney, the Province of Ontario now allows this to be done entirely virtually, as long as one of the witnesses is a lawyer. In terms of the pandemic, this can be especially helpful if you are considered high risk. Our Team can put the necessary documents in place to allow a friend, relative or loved one the ability to handle your day-to-day banking and finances, or fill prescriptions and deal with treatment providers.
