Attention Members, This Friday will be our Colour Belt Testing! It will be a Socially Distanced In-Person Testing with 3 separate groups! Please note the following: First Group @ 5:30pm - 6:00pm Second Group @ 6:15pm - 6:45pm... Third Group @ 7:00pm - 7:30pm Parents/Spectators are not permitted inside, No Board Breaking or Sparring Gear required for this testing. All Classes are cancelled at Buroak Location for this day. Attention Members With the Government announcing York Region moving back into a Modified Stage 2 starting from Monday we are forced to make some changes to our current class rules. Taekwondo Schools are under a PSO and DO NOT categorize as a "Gym" like they refer to on the news. Therefore, we are not required to closed, but we must follow some restrictions like we had before in the summer time. 1. We Remain open for regular classes w limit of 9 Kids per class 2. We limit A...LL Students to 3x/week while this is in effect. 3. So far, this is only for the next 28 days, it may change after. Please Email us at [email protected] and let us know which 3 days you will be attending classes. We ask that everyone maintain the same schedule so we can guarantee your spot in class! While there is a big focus on Daily Covid-19 cases in Ontario & York Region, we just want to show everyone how the city of Markham remains one of the safest regions in the Province. Our daily numbers are consistently less than 20 which is less than most other areas. At MTA, the health & safety of our Staff and members are a top priority and we go above & beyond all government regulations to minimize risk. All students & Masters wear indoor Taekwondo Shoes & Masks while insid...e. We have been running regular classes since July with no issues at all. With the winter weather fast approaching, we hope to provide a safe way for you to still get important daily exercise & training. On Friday we had our first in person colour belt test since February! Its so easy to take these kind of things for granted in life. Congrats to such a dedicated hard working group of students who have not let a global pandemic stop their progress!
