UPDATE MOUNT ALLISON SUMMER CAMPS 2020 Mount Allison University regrets to inform you that our Summer camp day program will not be offered this summer due to the global COVID-19 (Corona virus) pandemic. It was not a decision we came by lightly, but it is a decision in the best interest of public health and safety for both the Campers and Staff. We are already looking forward to Summer 2021 and having the Campers join us for an exciting summer filled with games, friends an...d laughs. Our last camp of the Summer will be happening next week! On the Friday of camp, from 2-4pm we will be having different water related games (weather permitting) for Adventure and a trip to the MTA Pool for Discovery. The day will end with cake, face paint, a video of all the summer fun had at camp, and 'goodbyes' to campers/counsellors. All previous campers are invited to the end of day activities on Friday (August 23). If you have any questions, or would like to register a camper for the BEST OF THE BEST camp, please email [email protected] or call 364-2114.

This week at MTA Camps, we have Creative Campers and Leadership Camp!

So far this week, we have met with Paramedics and a member of the Canadian Armed Forces. For just $25 a day, your child can come to camp and meet Firefighters as well as take a tour of the Fire trucks/Police department. Still to come is superhero training, obstacles, scavenger hunts, as well as fun crafts! Don`t miss the chance to be a part of something SUPER cool!

Don`t forget that we offer single day registration for $25!! Nature NB has gifted MTA Camps with the opportunity to tour Cape Jourimain this Wednesday, but Thursday and/or Friday would be great opportunities for campers to come and play for the day. Call 364-2114 if you have any questions!

Mount Allison Summer Camps offers day drop-ins! This means that even if the week has already begun, you can bring your camper on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday for only $25/day! Don`t miss the chance to get involved with Amazing Race Camp that is happening right now!!

**NEW** Leadership Camp - Ages 10 and up - August 12 to August 16 New to Mount Allison Summer Camps is our Leadership camp! Campers will develop their skills to act as confident, courteous and respectable leaders while learning about the importance of being responsible in a leadership role. Leadership is about respecting one's self, others and the environment. It's about working in a positive team setting and helping others. It's about participation, maintaining a posit...ive attitude and focusing on self -improvement. Campers will leave this camp with a solid understanding of how to act as a leader that focuses on engaging others while creating an inclusive experience. **We are excited to include an OPTIONAL overnight stay (one night) with this camp in residence at Mount Allison** The optional night of stay will be Wednesday night, August 14. $125.00 no lunch, $157.50 with lunch, $200.00 (1 lunch, dinner, breakfast and overnight)

In response to Mount Allison’s decision to close Jennings meal hall to everyone but students with a meal plan, the Thank You dinner scheduled for March 18th is cancelled. We will continue to post on our Facebook page any updates with Summer Camps, including our themes and when we will open registration.
