Somehow this has a Carnival Band connection. Perhaps it's the line in the fairy tale "It was a loud noise, but they loved it."

After 5 years of writing, editing, recording demos and tossing out the stuff that didn't work, my R&B musical is done. It will be staged, no date set yet, but now the search for voices to realize it is on. I'm looking for 1 female and 1 male lead at this point. Twas the season of the video and sound recording. I've had 5 clients make video or sound recordings as Christmas presents for family and friends. They are personal and private works, so not shared here. It's great to see and hear the confidence which these young people have and built further as a result of the process. Merry Christmas to one and all.

Sometimes I feel 9 am is a bit early to start playing music but then I see the smiles and it all makes sense. My interns Jenny Tung and Jason Lee were also big contributors to the success of this program over the years.
