Wild Encounter When you're with others and it's as safe as it can possibly be in the circumstances. THIS is how close the wild horses will come to you when they are curious. This young lady had the thrill of a lifetime as the young horses came to check us out. They were very cautious, but curiosity won out, as we just sat there and took photos. It was not our intention for them to get that close, it just happened. It was so exhilarating. ... When you are not a threat and they know you intend no harm, wild horses are just as curious as our own domestic horses. This does not mean that they won't hurt you if they suddenly believe you are a threat. I do not recommend doing this when you are alone OR you don't know how to read horses. It is always safety first.

Spring clean up around our yard. With it having been so dry this spring, we didn't want to risk having a fire. Last weekend was the perfect time to burn... Little to no wind and it was raining.

Photographing wildlife is so much fun. You get to go to so many beautiful places. The goal is to see wildlife, yet the views you see are breathtaking as well.

It's awesome when you drop off a clients portrait and they are so happy with it. What a great family to work with!

We had so much fun taking these photos for Mother's Day! Mr E. is such a card and attempting to get a non goofy shot was interesting.

The best part of taking family photos is the shots you get of the kids. They tend not to care that Mom and Dad want nice smiles for a family photo. Sometimes it takes a multitude of shots to get the one that the parents are pleased with and everyone is smiling and not blinking. lol Honestly, I love the ones where one or more children are not configuring to adult protocol. There's been an addition to the Panther Valley Herd! We were fortunate enough to photograph this little one. It looks to be a day, possibly two days old. The other roan mare in the herd, looks about ready to foal any time now.
