For a late breakfast, I @davidchang 'd some left over rice. I didn't have any bacon handy, so I literally scooped some out of leftover soup that I made and some kale from the soup came along for the ride. When the House Baker started prepping this, I did what every other person would naturally do....I started singing @warrantrocks "She's my cherry pie"...complete with air guitar and (not so) high kicks but lots of rockstar hair!! . . Although I was offered a slice, which @tessadie baked for her BF to celebrate his last College exams!! Congrats Jack!!, I did not partake but was told it was amazing!! When the House Baker asks if I'd like walnuts in the banana bread, the answer is always, yes. I like the texture change up and the nuttiness it lends to the sweet banana goodness. Besides, nuts are GOOD for you. . . But when it's made in an 8x8 pan and she candies the walnuts first then adds them throughout and on top.... Nicely done @tessadie .... .
