It is with mixed feelings that I write this post today. After a whirlwind of situations, events, experiences, and struggles over the past few years, I have won my court battle. What this means is, I will be moving to Alberta to take advantage of opportunities that I have fought for. I am set to move on August 24th. I am very excited for this, as I will be able to provide for my son and give him opportunities that he would otherwise miss in his life, but I am also devestated t...o be leaving all of my amazing clients. You all have supported me throughout the years and I am forever grateful to have you all. I couldn't have made it this far without you, and your belief in me. I hope I make you proud to wear the art I have worked so hard to put into your skin. I thank you more than you could possibly know! This definitely isn't a goodbye post. This is a see you later post, as I will still be traveling back to work, as I do not want to lose you all. I know there are still people with unfinished work, which I will prioritize when I do come back, and I apologize for the quickness of my move. I just received my definite answer on Friday, and Covid-19 postponed everything. Again, thank you to everyone for all these years! And on August 22nd, I will be having a revolving get together, if anyone would like to come by the studio, before I leave. Much love to you all! And I will see you soon. Keep an eye out for updates for return work visits!

I am now closing my appointment book. I've maxed out my appointment times for July 20th-August 21st. I'll announce more at a later date! Thank you everyone!

I have started my process of rebooking/booking everyone in. Right now, I am only booking from July 20th-August 21st. I will be working 6 days a week, to try to catch up and fit everyone in. For those of you who are booked in, I do require a mask to be worn in the studio, and a covid-19 form needs to be filled out before entering the studio. I am looking forward to seeing everyone again!

I am flying back to Nova Scotia tomorrow, June 19th. I have to isolate for 2 weeks before I can reopen, plus I have some changes to make in the studio. I will be working on answering all emails after I rebook in everyone who has had their appointment cancelled in the last 3 months, during this time. You should hear from me within the next two weeks. Just a quick reminder- I will be in touch with everyone who had their appointment cancelled because of the pandemic once I get back in Nova Scotia, to know when I can start rebooking after my isolation time. After all those appointments are rescheduled, I will be answering all other emails, and booking you in afterwards. Please be patient with me as I figure all of this out. It hasn't been easy to do from the opposite side of the country!

Awesome news! June 5th is reopening in Nova Scotia! I’m happy to hear this. There are still many things that have to be taken care of, before many of us are able to open, however. In saying this, I likely will not be open until the end of June/first of July. I have courses to take, paperwork to do, revisions to be done in the studio, guidelines to follow that have not yet been approved, and supplies to acquire (which I am sure you all realize is much easier said than done).... During this time , I still have to manage to catch a plane back to NS, which has been proving difficult, and will have to isolate for 14 days, before I can reopen. When I do open my appointment books, I will be contacting those who were booked in with me during the shutdown and rescheduling them in order of their original appointments. After they have been successfully booked in, I will be contacting everyone else who has inquired since then. All new requirements for entering my studio will be posted once they have been confirmed. Please be patient as I slowly get back to normal day life. There is much to consider and much to do! But I am looking forward to seeing each and every one of you, again, and to make you all squirm in pain! I may be missing it more than you know

For those who have been booked in since this started, I will be getting in touch as soon as I hear I can rebook you. I’ll be going in order of the original bookings. After everyone is booked back in, I will be in touch with everyone who wanted to book an appointment after the lockdown. I need to make this as fair as possible. ... And I have appointments in two different provinces, so please be patient with me! I’ll make sure everyone gets in, one way or another. Miss you all!

Still closed. I wish I knew when I could get back to work, but for now, I cannot. I will be rescheduling everyone as soon as I know that I can go back to work. I’m doing this week by week, so I am not moving appts until I have to, and it will go in order of sequence as how you were booked in with me during this time, to be the most fair to everyone. I’m sorry that this has to happen. I’m not a fan of it at all! Stay safe.

I am back and taking appointments! Looking forward to seeing all of you!

I know many of you are waiting for responses and you will get them! I am away in Newfoundland for my sisters wedding this weekend and will be answering everyone Tuesday night and Wednesday. If time permits after all the wedding shenanigans and I can access it on my phone I will start earlier. Thank you everyone for your understanding while Kate and I are away.

Just a few announcements and dates to keep in mind! -Kate will be away from August 29 until October 4 with appointments resuming on October 8th unless otherwise noted. -I will be on vacation from August 10-14 resuming answering messages on the 15th. Kate will be available to answer on an emergency basis, for example a cancellation or change to appointment etc... -I will be away from September 18-24 in which there will be no one answering messages or emails. -I will be ans...wering emails and messages as well as booking appointments for when Kate returns while she is away with exception of those dates in September. Kate has had a last minute opening for this Friday July 12! Who’s itching for a new tattoo?

As many of you know up until this point Kate has charged a flat rate of $125 an hour but due to unforeseen circumstances Kate has to start charging tax on all tattoos. This will take effect immediately. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Kate has openings for some small-ish tattoos this week. Thursday and Saturday evening are up for grabs.
