Part 2, She received a message stating that her work had to be re done as-well. I than received a review on my fb page which you can also see attached. She stated that I caused these so called welts but yet went on to say that they had to re do everyone’s makeup. I am being blamed for causing these so called reactions. I was never told from the bride that she was not happy with either of our services nor that any makeup was re done on top of mine. I am also being told tha...t I did not properly sanitize my brush, the ladie that left me this awesome review sat on the floor next to my work station and watched me spray cinema secret brush cleaner and proceeded to watch me clean my brushes. I am not posting this because I want to be a spiteful person I am posting all of this because their is 2 sides to every story and mine needed to be heard. when you are being accused of causing something that I out of your control when you know you followed all the procedures and steps to ensure things like this do not happen it’s a bit frustrating and I am the first person to admit when I do something wrong. Which in this case I did not. PART 1) As a business owner this is not something I would ever think I would need to do. But because this is my business it is important to me that all my past and future brides that I address this situation. Let’s start from the beginning, I had a bridal client book me for her and 2 other girls for makeup applications. Everything was fine, we had a trial more, ladies were added on the day of her trial. My contract states that once their is a set number of how many applicat...ions I will be doing you can not change anything once the contract is signed. I make every bridal client I have aware of this from the begging specially if they are unsure of final numbers. Days after the trial was done I received a message that a few of the ladies did not want my services which I already explained to her numerous time that their balances still need to be paid weather they receive my services or not. Day of the wedding we arrive on location, only 1 of 6 of the girls wore makeup on a regular basis. I ask all the questions I always do to get a good understanding of my clients skin, not 1 of these ladies knew what their skin type was. Anyways I continued on, 5 out of 6 of the girls including the bride had 5-8 products total applied on their face. Moisturizer, eyeshadow, eyeliner , mascara , brow powder, blush and highlight. Day is done, not one person had any skin reactions, nor any complaints about my applications while at the location where everyone was getting ready. I receive a message Sunday evening stating that 2 out of 6 of the girls had welts on their skin. I asked a series of questions and asked for pictures which I will not be showing for privacy reasons. I proceed to tell my client all the products that were used on their skin. My questions were still never answered. I never got a response that night. Monday morning strolls around and I get a message from the bride asking for a refund! I than explain my questions were not answered, and that I would not give a refund. As you can read in my pictures attached. a day has gone by and I did not hear back from the bride. My hairstylist that I work with which again I won’t be saying any names, for privacy reasons.
