We've just added the pieces from yesterday's kiln opening to the website so everything we have is now online. Here is a sneak peek of a few of the items. Lots of time to ship before Mothers Day!

In an attempt to satisfy the requests of quite a few people, we have set up an outdoor 'store' area for you to come and shop, without worrying about being in a small enclosed space. Everything is outside and under cover BUT you're advised to leave your high heels at home. Just have to make sure and mention this as you'll be walking on gravel and we all know how Kootenay women (and some men) LOVE them some high heels. Lots of new items will be put on the shelves & online o...n Thursday morning. The kiln is at at 2134 degrees Fahrenheit right now so only a little bit more and we're done another glaze fire! We'll be open for the next two weeks on Friday evenings from 5 - 9 PM and Saturdays from Noon - 6 PM. Come do your Mother's Day shopping or better yet...shop for yourself! Address: 2581 38 street out in Lister. Head south on highway 21 and turn left on 40th st. (there’s a sign that says Lil Mutt Pet Resort). Today we're loading the kiln for our first bisque fire this week and we're planning ahead for glazing in a couple days. Shelves are starting to fill up again! I have another 24 mugs to trim, put handles on and decorate and then a couple loads are ready to go. Should have everything bisqued, glazed and fired again before the end of the month so there should be lots of inventory ready for

EDIT: KILN OPENING CHANGED TO 9 AM ON TUESDAY! Today is filled with glazing mugs, mugs and more mugs...plus a few garlic keepers and honey pots. Lots of ‘Mountain Mugs’ with the Kiln opening on Tuesday morning at 9 am MST. Everything will be available online on Wednesday at 6 pm so mark your calendar if you are waiting for one of these mugs. Not sure if I’ll be doing another fire before Christmas so get your gifts now... just in case!

Canada Post has generously offered us the opportunity to ship one free parcel every Tuesday in October so if you’ve been waiting to purchase because of the shipping costs, now is your opportunity to save $$. First four paid orders get the free shipping and will be sent out on each Tuesday based on the sequence the orders are placed.

New glaze combo from the kiln yesterday. A beautiful matte purple combined with sea foam creating a gold flecked blue where they combine. Lots of new mugs posted on my site with more to come next week. Hope you’re all able to get out and enjoy this beautiful weekend ahead of us! I've put most of these items up in my store now so finally have a little more stock. Another glaze fire will be done early next week so more items will be available then as well. (Correction in the price of the birdhouse quoted in the video... I said I had been charging $50 when in fact they have been sold for $75. Didn't want anyone who had bought them to feel like I overcharged them!)

It always amazes me how long it takes me to load the kiln for a glaze fire...45 minutes and yes, moving the pieces over and over again does have a purpose (at least that’s what I keep telling myself).

We tried a new glaze combo in the last glaze fire and LOVE it! Trying a few different techniques with these glazes on LOTS of mugs! Day two of glazing today and then everything in the kiln tomorrow to be fired. Kiln opening Thursday morning at 11 AM MST! LOTS of mugs will be up for grabs... if the kiln gods are nice to us.
