Beef Tembals. Ground beef with peas, onions, raisins, flavoured with honey, cumin, white pepper, tomato and garlic. Wrapped in a pastry.

It's a sunny Thursday. It was Janelle's birthday yesterday, so, The Kelcey is on! Pulled pork, brisket, cheese sauce, and caramelized onion this time on a apple fritter. Stay tuned for more classic hits coming this weekend for Mothers Day.

The ever popular burnt ends. Always a limited supply.

RIP Mike Mills. I'm sure there is an awesome barbeque party happening.

I was given Peace Love and Barbeque cookbook as a present from my brother and sister. It soon became my bible and I began my journey learning real barbeque. If it wasn't for that book and this man there would be no Muddy's Pit Barbeque.

Another beautiful Saturday at the pit. A little live music on the back patio at 1pm. College football on the tube in the front patio. Smoked Bologna and Hunt Camp Beef Stew on special. Get your Canadian on. Dress appropriately, bring a blanket, have a beer.

RESTOCK ALERT Last minute favourites just in time for Christmas! While supplies last we've restocked on Walton Wood Farm, Muddy's BBQ Sauces, and Covered Bridge Storm Chips!

The chill is back in the air. Heaters are on on our patios. Perfect weather for some all meat Texas Chilli, Hunt Camp Beef Stew, or a Mondo Burger in yer gullet.

Sunday Chicken. We don't do chicken that often so get it while you can. Jerk 1/2 chickens and chicken wings will be on till its gone. NFL on the patio.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. We are open today till 8.

Just a heads up, oir hours are changing for Friday and Saturday. We will be closing at 8pm instead of 9pm. We will be open Wednesday to Sunday till December 20th. So you still have time to get your barbeque on.

Bills v Seahawks this Sunday. Wings on till they're gone.

So today starts our Fall cooking sh#t with fire. We will try to do this every weekend. Today, fire roasting butternut squash and sweet potatoes for a soup to come.

Heaters are on. College football. BBQ. Saturday night is waiting for you.

Just a heads up. Our fall hours are Wed, Thurs, Sun, 11-8. Fri and Sat 11-9. We will be open to the Sunday before Christmas Pandemic rules permitting.

From all of us at Muddy's thank you for a great summer season. Our Covid patio was rocking. BUT WAIT! Just because the temperatures are starting to drop doesn't mean we are closing down. We have plans. Stay tuned! As for the hospitality industry, almost all restaurants and bars are relying on their outdoor seating to keep them afloat. They can't make a go with a 50% indoor capacity. So be a proud Canadian and embrace our weather! Dress appropriately and go out to your favourite establishments in the Kawartha's. If you don't, they might not be there next summer. Peace.
