It is interesting to get comments from people who like that you follow the health regulations and reviews that praise your efforts to make them feel safe. Then to have some get angry that we do follow them and put up reviews to punish us. We didn't set up the rules, we just follow them because we care about you.

Nice to see the numbers of people viewing our restaurant on Google maps in the last 28 days. Luckily they did not all come in at one time

Long day for the restaurant even though we were closed. Everyone pitched in to allow for more customers while respecting the health guidelines as per Dr. Bonnie Henry. We are installing plexiglass barriers to allow for people at tables to be closer than 2 meters.

Older review but the first one to mention our website and the research we have done for the restaurant. "One time while driving down Kingsway I noticed the bright awning of Mui Ngo Gai. That led me to the website address they posted on their window. I thought it was interesting that a Vietnamese restaurant that’s not part of a chain would have a website setup. So I logged on to check them out. Boy am I glad that I did. Mui Ngo Gai is owned by a couple where the wife is Vi...etnamese. They chronicle (through their blog) their travels to different parts of Vietnam, trying out the different types of pho of different regions, and recreating them at their restaurant. The regions include but are not limited to Hanoi, Hue, My Tho, Saigon, etc. This leads to lots of different flavors and combinations in the Specialty Soup section, some of which I’ve never seen before anywhere else in the Lower Mainland.
