Sequence 8 for Depression/ Anxiety Class Walking Pranayama our last sequence before our final test for this class this walking pranayama has chanting in it. option 1: is to follow the pranayama exactly in the video... option 2: is one inhale = one step with the left leg and one exhale = one step with the right leg. Here you will move a lot slower but keep you chant long and hold on the step until your breath finishes you can do a walking pranayama out in nature, when the weather is warmer you can do your walk barefoot to feel all textures and sensations under the feet I used o for my inhale and Ham for my exhale, please use any chant that is calming and relax as you move through nature remember during your walk to stay in the now don’t let your mind drift into thoughts, keep your focus on each step and each sound you make. Sequence 6 for Depression/ Anxiety Class Happy Saturday Everyone!! Let’s keep moving together 6 rounds total- 3 on the right leg and 3 on the left leg (alternate back and forth between the right and left) inhale and exhale are equal at 4, 5, 6 or whatever count is comfortable for you stay for 3 breaths in your form of pigeon pose making sure it is a pose that’s comfortable for you and can be made safe/ relaxing... keep the mind focused on your breath count we are starting to slow down our practice now by moving into a kneeling sequence but we are staying active in dynamic movements and our breath count working into the hips to help release any stress, tension or negative energy that is stuck in the body with each exhale work on letting go as we relax deeper into our pigeon pose See more

Sequence 7 for Depression/ Anxiety Class Sunday Funday!!! Here is a new sequence that is a counter pose to help release our hips from pigeon pose in the previous sequence 3 rounds dynamic round 4 stay for 1 breath... round 5 stay for 2 breaths round 6 stay for 3 breaths inhale equals exhale for a count of 4, 5, 6 or more if that is comfortable for you as you exhale make sure to draw the low belly in as you forward fold, creating more space to hinge forward and contacting the low belly helps to massage our inner organs (AVOID contracting the low belly if you are pregnant) Enjoy this beautiful Sunny Sunday See more
