Things are happening at the RoadHouse. We're so happy to have local high school students working alongside our Technical Director and contract electricians.
We're excited to introduce Andre Fenton, who will lead the Spoken Word Workshop on March 18. Andre is an award-winning author, spoken-word artist, and arts educator who has represented Halifax at seven national poetry festivals across Canada. He is an author of two YA novels, Worthy of Love and ANNAKA. Andre has facilitated workshops at over 30 schools across Nova Scotia helping young writers and performers develop their craft, he is currently working on his third novel, The Summer Between Us. Chad has worked as a newspaper reporter, communications advisor, freelance writer, part-time journalism instructor, and parenting columnist. His debut middle-grade novel THANKS A LOT, UNIVERSE (Amulet Books/Abrams Kids) releases in May 2021.
