Muli Vintage YXE

Love this! Unknown to many, I am only 25 but I felt like I have gone through so many versions of myself already; hence whenever people ask me how old I am, I always tell them a different age or dismiss them altogether. I have always felt like I was robbed the chance to experience my teenage years like a normal teenager because my usual Monday-Fridays are for going to school and my Saturday-Sundays are my elected days to help my grandfather in his hardware store or help my pa...rents run our small cafeteria back in the Philippines. There can be a little bit of something in between but it was more of just those 2 to-do’s every single day. I used to hate it soooo much back then. But as I look back at that version of myself, I am pretty much convinced that that part of me was just life itself onboarding me for the many more heartaches, failures, hurdles, and most importantly, the triumphs, the wins, the succes that I can most definitely achieve if I work hard to reach the peak of my journey. Muli has and will always be my ‘firstborn child’; an unforgettable experience filled with many trials and errors, sleepless nights of rummaging through the depths of the internet and travelling as far as Hinton so I can have something to offer to all of you, and the many other awesome things I have discovered about myself because of Muli along the way. So to my previous self, the broken and bitter, the too trusting and gullible, the insecure, the too-much-of-everything-or-nothing, the fragile, the mean and spiteful: I have overcomed each of you, I have forgiven you, I have learned soooo much from you, and I love you for letting me unfurl the person who I have to become today and the next tomorrows to come. Thank you for letting me bring Muli from being just a dream into life.

Another one for the most talented Curatedbylb I wanted to celebrate her by giving her the curves she definitely have but still with the NORMAL belly pooch each and every woman will always have on their uniquely beautiful bodies! Leanne of Curatedbylb has been working out more ever since the pandemic started as it keeps her happier and healthier more than any other reasons! So when she told me she wanted one of my boob pot, I made sure that I can give her wellness journey an ode through one of my pots! This joint collaboration with Jenna of @soulfulmacarons has been amazingly successful! another kind donation, another day of helping people in need, another typhoon-stricken location from the Philippines will be sent help. Thank you once again Project Acts (formerly Papel Para sa Edukasyon) for being a very trustworthy and transparent organization that is all about extending a helping hand to others. This concludes my fundraising for the affected families of typhoon Ulysses. May this upcoming holiday season finally mark the start of a brighter future as we all approach a brand new year (here’s to hoping it will be a better one!) As always, each and everyone of you who has supported Muli Vintage YXE are the main highlight of a supposed awful year!

Here is our fundraising update for the donations raised through gofundme and Muli’s wicker corner shelf auction half of what was raised ($460) was sent to Papel Para sa Edukasyon where they converted all of the monetary donations that they have received including ours into relief goods like bottled waters, sacks of rice, canned goods, etc. All of the relief goods were later on dropped off to the Office of The Vice President of The Philippines for mass distribution in Cagay...an. The other half of what we were able to raise ($450) was sent to our trusted friend in my hometown where they converted our donation into sacks of rice and face shields for distribution within Bocaue, Bulacan. Another fundraising was successfully held by @soulfulmacarons through Instagram (another Filipina-owned business based locally here in YXE) where half of what Jenna was able to raise ($477) was sent to me as a generous donation for another round of relief operation. All of these wouldn’t be possible without all of your kindness and generous hearts! From everyone at Muli, we would like to thank each and everyone of you for making this relief operation a possibility! As we approach the holiday season, may we never take for granted the comfort our home provides us, the food on our table which feeds us, and the ability to lend a helping hand to those who are in need. ONCE AGAIN, THANK YOU SO MUCH FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS!

People might say I am weird or crazy for putting this up for auction as I can sell this in perfect condition wicker corner shelf as much as I want to and losing the risk of getting my capital back for buying it only to put it up for auction, but if that is what it will take for me to be able to help my fellow Filipinos back home who were stricken by typhoon Ulysses’ havoc in my own little way, I WILL PUT THIS BABY UP FOR AUCTION A THOUSAND TIMES AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT. 100% of ...the money that will be raised through this auction will be directly donated to the gofundme page I have created towards the relief operation intended to distribute necessary survival packs with canned goods, pre-packed rice, clean water, fresh clothing, etc. out to the affected families.
