I am SO #DoneWithDairy What is one of the first lessons we teach our children? 1.) To tell the truth. 2.)To be kind. 3.)To treat others the way you want to be treated. Right?... The 'dairy industry' represents the exact opposite. It is based on lies and false hoods. The lies are targeted at our very young children through government food guides, that perpetuate through the school systems and are glorified in the media. (Remember the Celebrity Milk Moustache Campaign) The 'dairy industry' is the 'meat industry'. #TellTheTruth #DoneWithDairy #DairyIsScary #

Activist burnout from sexism, racism, and infighting can lead to permanent withdrawal from the animal liberation movement. How can we as vegan animal activists practice self-care individually and maintain resiliency as a movement? Gain a deeper understanding of activist trauma, create a personalized self-care plan, and expand your sense of community while forming a call to action during our conversation with author and therapist Gilliam Walters. Gillian Meghan Walters MA, R....C.C. is a Registered Clinical Counselor with a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology. She has over ten years of post-graduate training in expressive arts therapy and is the author and illustrator of two children’s books. Gillian co-founded the first vegan magazine in British Colombia and lectures widely on raising vegan children, intersectionality issues, feminist perspectives on dairy oppression, and activist trauma. Gillian joins our next Sustainable Activism Webinar on Thursday, April 2, 5 pm 6 pm PT (8 pm 9 pm ET). You can join this live webinar via phone or online or listen to the replay later.
