Today we will be announcing our 2020-21 Athletic Honour Society Inductees. Election to membership in the Athletic Honour Society is the highest athletic award which can be conferred on a student of this University. Induction into the Athletic Honour Society is awarded to students that make an outstanding contribution to the athletic program of Memorial University and its students. This contribution should not be judged solely by participation on athletic teams, but rather on the sometimes intangible manner in which students give of themselves for the good of athletics at the University. #WeFlyTogether

Congratulations to Devon Tobin on being named the 2020-21 Memorial University Varsity Hockey Orin Carver Award recipient. This award is a testament to the collaborative spirit of our varsity athletic hockey alumni, and named in memory and honour of the much-respected and beloved coach, Orin Carver, who coached three Memorial University Boyle Trophy Championship Teams. #WeFlyTogether

Congratulations to Margaret Henley on being named the Dr. Edgar House Athletic Award recipient for 2020-21. This award was established through a generous gift from the family of the late Edgar House.
