After a fire destroyed the Thorndale Community Centre on February 24, 2020, a new facility is almost ready for the public less than one year later! Tune in to CTV News London at 6:00pm and 11:00pm tonight for a sneak peak of the new facility. Reporter Daryl Newcombe enjoyed an early look at the amazing new Thorndale Lions Community Centre earlier today, with our Mayor and Deputy Mayor as his tour guides. The Municipality of Thames Centre and the Community of Thorndale can be very proud of the amazing support and dedication shown by so many local groups and individuals to help make this project possible from the many generous donors to those that assisted in countless other ways.
