NOTICE FOR USERS OF THE MABOU WATER SYSTEM The water level within the groundwater well that supplies the community of Mabou has now stabilized. Rainfall amounts in October and November were more inline with average annual rainfall amounts after a significantly dry September. Due to the increased rain amounts and the diligent efforts of residents to conserve water, the groundwater well recovered to normalized production. The Conserve Water Order is now lifted, but please c...ontinue to practice good water conservation habits. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

NOTICE FOR USERS OF THE MABOU WATER SYSTEM The Mabou water plant will be shut down on Friday, November 27th so staff and contractors can complete necessary work on the production well. As such, it is important for residents to conserve water on Friday in order to preserve levels for fire protection and daily use. To conserve water, please:... - Take short showers and no baths; - Do not let your faucet run when washing or rinsing; - Avoid washing clothes as much as possible; - Keep a bottle of water in the fridge to avoid letting water run to obtain a cold drink; - Flush your toilet less often; - Used bottled water for consumption and tooth brushing. NOTICE FOR ALL RESIDENTS Remembrance Day Service Changes Due to Remembrance Day, there will be no garbage or recycling collection on Wednesday, November 11th. Pickup for that day will instead occur on Saturday, November 14th. As well, all Municipal facilities will be closed on November 11th.
