In her address "Staying Positive in a Difficult Time", Darci will talk about skills needed to cope during stressful situations and with difficult people, building more positive relationships without sacrificing personal energy, becoming an uplifting influence on those around you, and discovering the strength that you already have within you. May 3 - 9 is National Mental Health Week. Last month, Municipalities of Saskatchewan teamed up with the Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association to host a webinar on the topic of Improving Mental Health and Wellbeing Through Community Recreation. It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the death of Professor Joe Garcea. While his findings were sometimes controversial, his passion for public policy and the municipal sector was immense, and his unfailing kindness was well known. He will be deeply missed.
