Renee Jagdeo is an alumna of the 2019-2020 Munk One Cohort, and is now running to be the youngest City Councillor in Toronto's history! Her platform includes expanding affordable housing, increasing COVID-19 protections for renters and businesses, and increasing green spaces in public areas in Ward 22 (Scarborough-Agincourt). One of these proposals even takes inspiration from her time in the Munk One Program! Recently, Munk One Professor and Interim VP-International Dr. Joseph Wong hosted a podcast episode on the experiences of international students during the pandemic featuring two Munk One students & alumni - Ana Meleti (‘20) and Atharv Agrawal (‘19).
