Canadian Virtual Hospice, with the support of Health Canada, is working with the Two Spirit and LGBTQ+ community to help improve resources about advanced illness, caregiving, end of life, and grief. We'd like to hear about your experiences with: - Receiving a difficult diagnosis, - Living with advanced illness, - Navigating the health system, - Seeking care - either at home or a long-term care facility, - Providing care - for people in the 2SLGBTQ+ or not, such as parents of children, - Preparing a legacy, - Preparing for end of life, - Or grieving. "Improving Health Communication with Intersex People This project aims to develop improved standards for communication and working relationships between healthcare practitioners and their intersex patients in Canada, centered on the needs expressed by members of the intersex community.... We are looking for intersex adults who have received care in the context of the Canadian healthcare system. Participation involves a 30 minute to 1-hour confidential one-on-one phone/Zoom Interview on needs and experiences in healthcare communication".
