On St. Patrick’s Day the team at Murphy’s Auto Services celebrates the Irish settler heritage of our beautiful community of Herring Cove. Some of the first European settlers were Irish immigrants, arriving in the late 1700s. Many present-day residents of the community are the descendants of those original Irish settlers. Although we’re currently unable to celebrate the day in the some of the more traditional ways ;-) here are a couple of links to celebrate the Irish spirit! Happy Holidays! In 2020, we proved day-in and day-out, in challenging times, that we are here for you. Has anyone been dreaming about a summer where inter-provincial borders are open and road trip visits to family/friends in other provinces are made possible? We sure have been. Here's a memory of a trip that Steve made a few years back on a road trip hiking adventure to Gros Morne, Newfoundland. Look for the yellow clothed figure leading the pack of hikers. That would of course be, Murphy! Always ahead of the game, that guy.
