Is consistency hard for you? If consistency is maybe what you’re struggling with in your health/fitness journey, let me first say that you are not alone. Everyone struggles with it in some way or another. ... Most of my clients are moms and/or busy working women. The top complaint they have is usually consistency. Here are 3 problems that might be contributing to your problem; The first problem is usually a lack of clarity. Are you clear on your goals? What you want to attain? Are these goals appropriate for your lifestyle? Another problem might be your mindset regarding fitness/nutrition. Do you struggle with an all or nothing mentality? Maybe your mindset is a total life overhaul . If you can only work out for 20 minutes today, what’s the point? If you ate too much for lunch, what’s the point of eating better at supper? Your support person/people in your life are not helping you attain your goals. Maybe it’s that your spouse is extremely picky with foods. Maybe they constantly pressure you to not workout or eat healthier. Maybe they don’t understand where you’re coming from in the first place. What’s the solution? Focus on your why to gain clarity. Why are you doing this? What are your goals? Make sure they’re attainable for your current lifestyle. Don’t bite off more than you can chew. Work on your all or nothing mindset. Make small changes. Congratulate yourself for small wins. Get the right support. Whether that’s from your spouse, a personal trainer, a workout buddy, etc. Talk to them when you need help and support to keep your head clear. Well, my dear clients and faithful followers - another year has come and gone and we have built quite the little MMF army haven’t we? While this may have been a horrible year for most - you all surpassed my wildest dreams on what I would accomplish with my company. ... This year, I helped over 500 women Everyday, and especially today, I am so thankful for every single one of you that have trusted me with your goals and your health. You all toughed it out with me while I got pregnant and had terrible all day sickness for 7 months. You toughed it out when I was too pregnant to function and couldn’t even work out. And now you’ve all toughed it out while I have had to adjust to life with two kids and getting back into working out/regaining my strength. Business wise, this year was unforgettable. Here’s what she had to say about her experience in the program; I felt like I knew nothing about weightlifting and thought if you wanted to lose weight you had to restrict as much as possible and do as much cardio as possible. But now, what I have learned from the program, is a deeper understanding of fitness and diet. It isn’t about restriction; it is about balance and that is something that I have learned the most about on this program. I loved the motivation videos you posted and meal ideas as I really struggled with being a new mom of two. It was also incredible to be a part of a workout community where I never felt judged and always accepted. Pumpkin Pecan Yogurt Bark Pumpkin purée Plain Greek yogurt ... Pecans Caramel drizzle ~ Line a cookie sheet with wax paper ~ Mix pumpkin purée and yogurt together in a bowl(enough to cover the cookie sheet) ~ Using a spatula, spread the mixture out evenly over the wax paper ~ Sprinkle chopped pecans on top ~ Place the tray in the freezer for at least an hour. Maternity leave has officially commenced! I’m no longer doing FaceTime sessions or in person sessions until after the baby is here and I’m cleared for exercise by my doctor. ... I am still accepting SOME online clients. The workout programs will not be customized as the demo videos are pre done(before I got too large to do anything LOL) The nutrition portion and check ins are all still customized, just not the workouts themselves. Get in the fall mood with these pumpkin pancakes 1 cup whole wheat flour 1 cup milk ... 1/2 cup pumpkin purée 2 tsp baking powder 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice ~ Mix all ingredients together in a bowl ~ Heat a frying pan and spray cooking oil on it ~ Pour batter onto frying pan and pancake sizes(I like small ones for my toddler) ~ Flip half way through cooking ~ Serve with toppings of your choice * you may need to add more flour or more water until you get the desired consistency.
