Meet Clara, our Account Coordinator here at Muse Who is Clara? If I had to describe "who" I am, I would say that I am a smart, lovable, and sometimes loud individual who laughs a lot! I like to think I'm a very positive person who brings great energy into a room. I'm very involved in advocacy work, especially in a digital space. ... Who are your muses? On any given day, my muse can change, but today, I'd have to say: @chiaraferragni (pronounced key-yara) - She's an Italian businesswoman who is also a fashion designer and model. She built up her whole brand from a blog called The Blonde Salad and is now a Harvard Business Case Study because of how successful she is. @drjenguner - Jen Gunter is Twitter’s resident gynecologist, the Internet’s OB/GYN, and one of the fiercest advocates for women’s health. She has completely devoted her professional life to caring for women, and obviously, that's something I can get behind. Personal motto or affirmation you live by? "Nothing lasts forever" I know it sounds super existentialist but, it's an affirmation that can humble you doing the good times and keep you focused during the bad. Last song you listened to and why? telepatia by @kaliuchis . I was chatting with one of my good friends I used to go to concerts with. We had the realization that we've seen Kali Uchis in concert at least four times! What superpower would you want and why? If I could select any superpower, I would have to be some form of atmokinesis (weather/climate-controlling). Climate change is becoming more and more apparent each day, and unfortunately, it is unlikely that human behaviour will change or shift to prevent it from escalating further. I would love some form of ability to capture carbon from the atmosphere to reduce the build-up of greenhouse gases on our planet. The next step would then be to tackle all the microplastics in our environments but, I only got to choose one superpower.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge Waller-Bridge is witty, charming, and hilarious. Her show Fleabag is one of the funniest, raw shows that breaks the fourth wall in the best way. I love every show that she writes for, such as Killing Eve and E4’s Crashing. George R.R. Martin Martin’s writing is so descriptive, captivating and his storytelling always keeps me at the edge of my seat because I never know what will happen next. Thanks to Game of Thrones I have been inspired to read his Song of Ice and Fire series. John Williams I believe that a great music score elevates the film-watching experience and John Williams is one of the best film composers of all time. Every score Williams writes is brilliant and captures the world it takes place in. My parents They emigrated to Canada in their late 20s, before I was born. They started from humble beginnings that required bravery, hard work, and resiliency. I am so thankful for all they have done for me, as they instilled values that have made me the person I am today. Personal motto or affirmation you live by? The motto I like to live by is from Shakespeare’s Hamlet This above all: to thine own self be true as this reminds me to be myself. Last song you listened to and why? Comptine d’un autre été, l’après-midi by Yann Tiersen. It has such a beautiful and enchanting melody. It’s one of my favourite piano compositions. What superpower would you want and why? If I could have any superpower it would be the ability to teleport. It would be awesome to go anywhere in the world in mere seconds.
