"Lord Renfrew" aka. Edward Prince of Wales in High River, September 1923.
This altar is always so incredibly beautiful (I believe this is the 5th year) and I am honoured to place a photo in honour of my beloved mom and dad on the altar. It always gives me great comfort. Muchas Gracias Liz Vigueras and helpers - love you.

Have you ever wondered what kind of paranormal activities happen in the museum after dark? Drove by at night and thought maybe you saw a figure in one of the windows? Had a creeping suspicion that maybe one of High River's most historic buildings has a haunted side? Well now is your chance to test your boo-ravery and see for yourself! Check out the event page for more information *** One group through the haunted museum at a time. ***Alberta COVID-19 regulations will be followed.

This was written in 2015 - but is so eloquent and true. Thank you Kathleen. We feel the same way at the Museum of the Highwood. The film industry in Alberta helped us to recover from the flood of 2013 and and gave us so much hope. And it still does. Between the location filming that brings so many amazing, talented people here and much-needed revenue to High River and the Foothills, and the economic benefits of film tourism that we observe year-round (even since Covid) we are huge fans of the Alberta film industry! Keep Alberta Rolling indeed!
