We are so pleased to be having the Immigrant Welcome Centre of North Vancouver Island 's Welcoming Communities Coalition participating in the Festival of Trees this year!

Camp life was not all about work - families lived there and made their own fun! This is the Brown and Kirkland crew and their families at Elk Bay in 1925. This photograph was probably taken during a Halloween party. Charles "Dutchie" Neuberg is the man holding the stringed instrument (a harp guitar).
