Fun fact: "When Adolf Sax first introduced the saxophone in the early 1840s, the instrument was a source of curiosity, disdain, and outright mockery. However, there were a few loyal fans and patrons who were immediately drawn to the revolutionary properties of the instrument. The first composer to champion the saxophone was Hector Berlioz, who wrote a gushing editoral about the new instrument in a Paris magazine known as Journal des Debats. " It's come a long way since the...n to become one of the world's most popular instruments! Did you know we offer saxophone lessons at Music Box? Email us at: [email protected]

A little post of appreciation for audio engineers and live sound engineers! They're always behind the scenes, dealing with tech, and making the music/show sound amazing! Each sound engineer is a well trained and accomplished musician with a great ear! They combine their knowledge of music and tech to bring us the best possible presentation of a song. Being an audio engineer is an excellent career option for new musicians to pursue (especially if they have an interest in technology). It provides lots of opportunity and usefulness in the modern music industry.
