Hi everyone! I'm doing a monthly Spring online series for the Westmount Library and we premiered today! This beautiful place was my childhood library and is probably the reason I love books and libraries so much. I am so happy to collaborate with them. You can watch my April mini session below. I'm singing about rain (appropriate for today!), growing plants from seeds, and maple syrup production!

My first time teaching in a church! This fall I have been running a nature/music program for kids called River Music through the Preville Fine Arts centre. We have been holding classes outside up until now and are doing the remaining few classes in this lovely space full of stained glass windows. The online winter class schedule will be announced soon.

Here’s a little video about the camp I worked at online last summer and a song I wrote for the kids to work on. It was a real team effort and it turned out great! Preville, normally an in-person community fine arts program, has been offering classes online since last summer. The winter schedule is coming out soon: https://centrepreville.org/

It's a different kind of fall session this year for Music By The Season, but I must say I have been delighted to have to teach my nature music classes outdoors. Here are some pics from our absolutely ideal and incredibly picturesque leafy classroom on Mount Royal. Thank you to the sun and the trees and the leaves and all the people, big and little, who made these Fridays extra special.

Hi everybody! Join me and Mr. Tree for this year's fall session! We will be singing about things like leaves changing colour, falling off the trees and then rustling under our feet, the weather getting cooler, animals preparing for the cold part of the year, apple and pumpkin picking and collecting nuts like acorns and chestnuts. I have been happily teaching online and in person outdoors since mid-September. My full fall schedule can be found on my web site (see below). ... In a "nut-shell," I am offering weekly morning classes online, a new online before-bed class in the early evening, weekly classes on the mountain until it gets too cold, and a new River Music program (for ages 6 months - 4 years, and 5-7 years) in conjunction with the Preville Fine Arts Centre in St Lambert that will be held partly outdoors and partly indoors and will be starting this coming Saturday. www.musicbytheseason.com https://www.centrepreville.org/music/
