The word 'integration' has been on my mind and on my lips recently. I'd like to share a song I wrote that carries that very word as its name. The words for this song came pouring out of me a few days after a series of plant medicine ceremonies. I was struggling to hold onto the powerful insights once I got back home into my regular life, and I was frustrated and anxious about that struggle. I went for a drive to "calm my mind" and suddenly pulled over and scribbled out these ...lyrics in their entirety on a scrap of paper. A large mass of energy was moved in this process - it emptied me out and filled me up at the same time. Happy 3 year release day anniversary to my EP 'Eat Magic'. The EP reached the national Earshot! Electronic chart and the single 'Leaning In' cracked the iTunes Canada top 50 electronic chart. 3 of the 4 songs were staples in my live sets, so if we made sweaty memories together over the last few years you have heard them.
