Memories from our Winter virtual recital.
A snippet from our Winter virtual recital
Working on chords and lead sheets this month. Let It Be and Lava Song are just a few of the songs we are deciphering. Nothing like some visual cues to help us understand the concepts.
I am so impressed by the talent and initiative of my student Laura Nobili (top photo). Not only did she compose two of the pieces in this collection, but she is also responsible for putting this book together for publishing and having the idea of donating the proceeds to a charity that helps underprivileged kids through music. Much gratitude and admiration goes out to Canadian composer Christine Donkin (bottom photo) for the phenomenal work she does in teaching, supporting and showcasing these young composers. If any of you are interested in buying this book, learning some interesting new pieces and supporting a beautiful charity in the process, here is the link where you can purchase the book: https://www.amazon.ca/Journey-Through-Canada-//ref=sr_1_1
All set up for a first online music and movement class. We are now teaching online 100%.

A little organization in between lessons.
Self care is very important, especially in these times. I like to drink a cup of tea and colour, while listening to sacred chants. What’s your favorite way to unwind after a day of work? #unwind #selfcare #coloring #musiclistening #eveningunwind #selflove #relaxation #relaxationtime
