The Baby beaver comes in two sizes, The Baby Beaver is 12" long and weighs 3.5 ounces (dry weight) and uses 6/0 hooks. The Baby Beaver XL is 14.5" long and weighs 6 ounces (dry weight) and uses 8/0 hooks. Both sizes are available in 5 standard color patterns. The Baby Beaver is constructed of plastic with .051 wire molded into each body piece. Each body piece is hand tied with deer hair and connected together with split rings. The rubber tail is molded onto the hook and is attached to the bait with a split ring making it replaceable. The blade attachment (sold separately) clips onto the front eyelet of the bait, turning the Baby Beaver into a buck tail with a little attitude...it can be easily removed to go back to the natural swimming action of the Bait. Also available separately, are replacement rubber tails

The Sledge is very buoyant. Fast pulls or jerks will tend to make the lure run shallow. A slow to medium jerk will allow the lure to run deeper. When jerking the bait it has a very distinct nose dive action. The best results achieved for lure action & hook setting power have been with a medium to heavy Jerk Bait Rod. With high speed trolling the Sledge has a left to right sweeping motion. The Sledge can be trolled anywhere from 3 mph up to 8 mph and has delivered GREAT resul...ts! Back wash trolling has also been very popular with this bait. Smaller Diameter line will also help the lure run deeper.

The shallow invader is a hybrid crank bait. The front half is hard plastic and the back half is a soft plastic replaceable tail. This construction gives the shallow invader a very unique swimming action unlike any other crank bait on the market. They can be cast or trolled, even at high speeds, the bait stays stable and will not blow out. They run about 3'-6' depending on speed, line diameter, and technique. Also great worked as a twitch bait when casting.
