Thanks to you know who, the Drive Ins will not open for Movies until after June 14. (even though all outdoor activities are open except us) So here is what the first weekend will look like due to moving previously announced concerts. The Drive In is supporting the community again! Coming every Sunday between June 6th & October 10th is the new Gravenhurst Community Market right here at the Drive In. This new food & artisan market is a destination to meet & shop local makers & growers. Vendors offering a variety of products, including both food and crafts can still apply to be included. Additionally, They have a free youth booth to showcase talented young artisans & are continuing to accept applications for this initiative. Updates! Looks like we cannot open until after June 14 w/ Stage 1. The BON JOVI Concert (75+% Sold) has now been moved by the presenter to Sat June 19. Any tickets purchased will be honored for that date & tickets are still on Sale. The FLORIDA GEORGIA L:INE concert (50+% sold) is still skedded for June 12 but we have set up Fri June 18 as the alternative date in case it has to be moved. Tickets are on sale & if it is moved tickets will be honored for the new date.

What a day! Looks like although Golf Courses and many others can open... not us! We are apart of stage 1 which means at least June 14. Concerts will get moved (again). Lots to figure out so more info to come. As our first weekend might be filled with the concerts on Fri & Sat. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in us opening early for a carload night before the weekend on Wed 16, Thurs 17 or after on Sun June 20. Let me know below your thoughts.

It’s 2021, time to put the Bad times behind us & focus on the Positive! Many are doing just that. Either helping others in their everyday dealings or by just helping in the moment! Seems everyone is wearing masks these days It’s time for us to say goodbye again BUT only for a short time until April 2021. I want to thank you all for your support during this strange year. You followed rules to keep everyone safe & made it hassle free during these crazy times. A sad passing reported today... the original James Bond Sean Connery has passed away. He gave us many adventures, laughs & thrills...and will be missed.

Thanks to everyone who supported our 1st night of the Family Halloween Movie Party & Adult Retro Horror Night. All of you were fantastic & we hope that you had a great time. When we were trying to open the Drive In amid Covid-19, we had an individual who decided to take it upon himself to send Premier Ford a letter on our behalf. This is Carter Power who is 8 years old & a super hero in the making. We caught up with him when he enjoyed a night at the Drive In that he helped get open again. Pretty amazing kid with nice cursive writing skills that you don't see much these days. Thanks again Carter for the help!!!

John Saxon passed away on Sat. He was known for Enter the Dragon w/ Bruce Lee or for Black Christmas or for Nightmare on Elm Street or the evil cyborg facing off against the Six Million Dollar Man. He was famous for his many movie or TV appearances. But to me I could call John a friend. Through the years we met many times primarily because I owned the rights to the original Black Christmas. He regaled me in stories of old Hollywood. Clint Eastwood, Bruce Lee, Johnny Depp, John Huston, were a few of the stories he told. But John (with Gloria, his wife's blessing) allowed a star struck fanboy like me a glimpse into a world I had only known on the Big screen. He was the consummate gentleman & the epitome of cool. He will be missed.

After reading it I now know why Premier Ford finally allowed Drive Ins to open especially our Muskoka Drive In!
