Are you ready for those trick-or-treaters? Make your pre-treat party into a parent's party! Try this "Monster Martini" for "Halloweenie" ORANGE & CHOCOLATE MARTINI... Ingredients: 2 strawberries, or more to taste 2 slices of Muskoka Blood Orange Olive Oil for garnish fluid ounce agave nectar ice cubes 2 fluid ounces vodka fluid ounce lime juice ounce balsamic glaze (reduced Muskoka Dark Chocolate Dark Balsamic), divided. Directions: 1. Place strawberries and agave nectar in a cocktail shaker and mash well with a muddler. Add ice, vodka, lime juice, and 1/4 ounce balsamic glaze/dark balsamic. Cover and shake cocktail until the outside of the shaker has frosted. 2. Swirl remaining 1/4 ounce balsamic glaze around the inside of a martini glass. Strain cocktail into the glass. 3. Garnish with orange slices.

ROASTED CARROT SOUP Hearty and Delicious Roasted Carrot Soup is both savory and spicy when drizzled with our Gravenstein Apple White Balsamic truly amazing! Ingredients: 4 large carrots or 6 medium carrots (peeled and chopped into 2-inch pieces)... 1 medium onion (chopped) 1 garlic clove (chopped) 3 Tbsp MOOC’s Butter Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1 Tbsp cumin 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp coriander 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 4 cups vegetable stock 1 cup heavy cream Garnish: chili flakes, fresh chives, nutmeg, and MOOC’s Gravenstein Apple White Balsamic Directions: Preheat oven to 375 F. Place carrots on a baking sheet and drizzle with half of MOOC’s Butter EVOO. Season with salt and pepper and roast until fork tender, about 30-50 minutes (depending on length and thickness). Heat a dutch oven over medium heat and add the rest of the olive oil, onion, garlic, cum, cinnamon, and coriander. Cook until softened but not brown. Add the roasted carrots, salt, and pepper and stir to fully combine. Add the vegetable stock and simmer for 30 minutes, covered. Allow to fully cool then blend in batches to the texture of your liking. Reheat in the dutch oven and add the cream. Optional: Garnish with chili flakes, chives, a sprinkle of nutmeg, and a drizzle of MOOC’s Gravenstein Apple White Balsamic. Enjoy!
