In an effort to evolve McHappy Day given our current environment, we have made the decision to postpone McHappy Day to later this year. We will be supporting RMHC with two exciting programs this year Fries for RMHC from April 20 May 10 and McHappy Day planned to take place on September 22. This year marks 40 years of RMHC’s support to families with sick children in Canada and 40 years of McDonald’s Canada proudly standing by RMHC’s side, as its founding and forever mission... partner, keeping more than 425,000 families together and close to their sick child in hospital. From the very first Ronald McDonald House opening in Toronto in 1981 to the most recent new House expansion announcements in Winnipeg and Halifax the deep-rooted support, passion, and commitment to the charity spans across our system from coast-to-coast.
