The family name signs actually continue onto the ground for about another 10 feet to the left. There wasn't anymore room on this tree... Shapes, sizes, styles, colours... ... The fun starts for cottage guests on trying to figure out if they turn right or left. It does make you smile. This picture does raise an important point. Road Access. What wonderful natural selections of the earth's expression, that surrounds us. It's picturesque, it's magical and it's altogether humbling. I took this picture of Dotty Lake when it had just stopped raining yesterday at about 6:00 pm. I was driving by the lake and my opportunistic eye, caught the light, design, textures and mood. Spring time in Muskoka is maple syrup time! It is truly amazing that we get this sweet sap from mother nature. The spring harvest symbolizes the end of winter and the beginning of warmer weather, longer days, and of course the harvesting of maple syrup.
